Any chance adding gtk3 , using Debian 8 mate here .?
Unfortunately not, I shared this modified theme when I was a teenager with a lot of free time. Now I don't have any more time and I don't even have the cumpetences to port this theme to GTK3 or Qt. If anyone want to do it, do it.
I was in a similar situation awhile back. porting a custom theme to GTK 3 is no easy task. I had to discontinue work on the theme I had even created a brand new version that was awesome but it never saw release.
Great thenme! Thank you!!!!! Love it! Installed on several different computers and depends much on graphs card. Some like Dell all works great! Menus in OO are white. On some others with more advanced graph cards menus are black.... bummer.... Nothing can be change. Tried to mess around with gtkrc file and nothing.... Maybe some more advanced users could elaborate on this. As I have to mention it only affects the OO Menus all ohters are excellent and I love it.
I had the same problem with 003.2 Resolved adding the line: text[NORMAL] = "#ffffff" in the 'style "menubar"' section.

It's really great! But! On my system I have a bug: in OpenOffice text in main menu (File, View etc) was black. Therefore it was black text on black background. I have correct this by edit gtkrc file in you theme. And I have made some small another corrections in index.theme etc. I want upload corrected theme here, but don't know how...
Can you tell me how you solve this problem with Openoffice?
Hi! I have the same problem with OpenOffice.Org 3.1.x and some addons for FireFox 3.5.x. on the upper bars.
For OpenOffice, try adding text[NORMAL] = "#ffffff" in the gtkrc file at line 1181 (style "menubar" section). For firefox, add the following lines at the end of userChrome.css file (in your firefox profile directory): menubar, menubutton, menu, menuitem, menupopup, popup > * { color: #d7d7d7 !important; } Hope this helps.
Hi, I have some problems with your fantastic theme. Some softwares, like Qtiplot and Texmaker, I have grey menus and white letters, so I cant see the menu items. Can you tell me how to fix it? Thx, Balazs
In gtkrc file at line 1251 (style "menu" section) change bg[NORMAL] = "#d9d9d9" with bg[NORMAL] = "#000000"
Thank you very much, it worked. This theme is just awesome.
Hello all, I downloaded the .gz file then extracted to ~/.theme directory. By doing this, the theme is available in "Appearance Preferences" window but with a message "This theme will not look as intended because the required GTK+ theme 'Raptor' is not installed" and I don't get the Raptor theme. Am I missing something to install this theme. Please help me, I really like this theme. Many thanks.
The safest way is to open the Appearance window and just drag-and-drop the .tar.gz into it. That should install it properly.
I'm getting the same message as well, even though I dragged and dropped into the theme screen.
